That" rapper Soulja Boy and four others have been charged with felony possession after a stop for a traffic violation Tuesday morning in Temple, GA turned up a "substantial amount" of marijuana and guns, Billboard.com has confirmed.

The 21-year old star (real name DeAndre Cortez Way) was in a Cadillac Escalade with four other men when police pulled them over around 3:15 AM about 20 miles east of the Alabama state line. Temple Police spokesperson Dana Rampy told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that there was a "substantial amount" of marijuana, cash and guns in the vehicle.

"It was a lot of marijuana," Rampy said without giving an exact amount. "All of the individuals were very cooperative."

Rampy denied a TMZ report that the men had "roughly 70,000 DOllar  in cash and drugs" in the vehicle. "I don't know where they got that," she told us. It remains unclear how many guns were in the car or whether they were properly registered to the occupants.

His arrest unfortunately coincides with the release on Tuesday of his"Soulja Boy: The Movie" DVD. A few hours before he was locked up, the rapper told his 3-plus million Twitter followers, "Today is gonna be busy and huge very historical lots of interviews to be done."
