L.R.B. (Love Runs Blind), one of the famous Bangladeshi rock bands, turned 20 on 5 April, 2011. To celebrate its 20th anniversary,the Bangladeshi community from Australia and New Zealand are arranging concerts where L.R.B. will perform live in front of the audiences.
While speaking about LRB’s 20-year long journey, Ayub Bachchu recalls, “How time is passing so quickly. Yes, it has been a long journey of LRB. And this journey could be called a journey of ups and downs, of joys and sorrows and of pains and happiness. Thanks to almighty Allah that we are still together as a family. After spending 20 years with a great success, LRB is looking forward to presenting a new album to the music-lovers.” Bachchu informs, “After 2008, we have not released any new album as we want to present some wonderful songs to our fans. At the moment we are working on our latest album. We have prepared 35 songs from which 10 or 12 will be selected for the album. We will release the album very soon.”
The concerts will take place in Sydney and in Melbourne on 23rd and 31st October respectively. The last show of the tour will be on November 6 in Auckland, New Zealand. This is the first time any Bangladeshi band are going to perform in New Zealand. ‘This is a great honor and pleasure for us that Bangladeshi community are arranging the shows, we are over joyed and we want to give them a great performance’ as Bachchu says. L.R.B. is going to leave Bangladesh on 20th October and will be back on the day before Eid.
